Cladding
Cedar cladding is sustainably sourced, very stable, low density, lightweight, and is very naturally resistant to termites and moisture. Will grey over the years unless UV protected.
Thermowood is sustainably sourced, heat-treated softwood. The process is chemical-free and causes the wood to become more stable and thus less prone to expansion and contraction.
Charred cladding seals the wood and protects it from insects by torching it in a controlled environment, and comes in varying degrees of char. Variety of sources.
